Chennai, Nov 27- After Billa, Ajith donned the lead role in the film Arrambam directed by Vishnuvardhan. This film which was released for Deepavali turned out to be a super duper hit. The film has yielded Rs 100 Crores profit. Ajith starrer Veeram is being released for Pongal. There is a great expectations for this film.
Many in Bollywood are interested in remaking Arrambam in Hindi. Akshay Kumar who is currently acting in the Hindi remake of the Tamil films Thuppakki and Ramanna is very much interested in remaking Arrambam.
At this juncture Shahrukh Khan who saw Arrambam recently openheartedly appreciated director Vishnuvardhan. He told him, “The film is fantastic. If you are interested, remake the film in Hindi. I will don the lead role.”
It is mentioned that Shahrukh Khan will don the role which Ajith donned in the original version while Ajith will don the Rana’s role. Ajith had earlier acted with Shahrukh Khan in the film titled Ashoka. It wouldn’t be surprising if Ajith shares the screen with Shahrukh Khan.
