Chennai, Jan 9 – The official trailer of Jilla has become a huge hit online since it was released on January 7. The three 10-second teasers have crossed more than 10 lakh hits on Youtube. #Jilla is trending on Twitter in top 5 position today. The Jilla’s official FB page has reached more than 5 lakh likes.
The film, set to hit theatres at Pongal on January 10, stars Vijay, Mohanlal and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles.
The trailer showcases Vijay performing various stunt sequences together with Mohanlal. The trailer assures mass entertainment for Vijay fans with action, comedy, romance and hard-hitting dialogues. Vijay and Mohanlal are playing father and son for the first time. People are curiously waiting to see how the duo works out in the movie. Vijay’s chemistry with Kajal has previously worked out well in Thuppaki.
D.Iman’s music has added value to the movie. Jilla has some superhit songs like ‘Pattu Onnu’, ‘Verasa Pogayile’ and ”Kandaangi Kandaangi’. Raja Velu’s cinematography is appreciated widely for the action sequences. Directed by RT Neasan and produced under the banner of Super Good films, Jilla is a real treat for Vijay fans during Pongal.
The film will share screens with Ajith’s Veeram, which is also releasing on January 10. The two big stars are releasing their movies together nearly after 7 years.
