Sungai Petani, Jan 24 – A total of 415 of the 730 schools in Kedah have distributed the RM100 schooling aid to students for this year.
Kedah Education, Transportation and Works Committee chairman Datuk Tajul Urus Mat Zain said today the remaining 315 schools were expected to distribute the payment by Jan 30.
He said the aid for Kedah this year took into account an additional 6,608 students, for whom RM660,800 had been set aside.
