Kuala Lumpur, Jan 29 – Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (Perodua) said the delivery of the new Perodua Alza to customers will be slightly delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.
“We wish to assure our customers that the delay is neither because of insufficient stock nor quality concerns.
“As of today, production of the New Alza stood at 10,000 units against bookings of 8,000 units,” Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said in a statement Wednesday.
He said most of the units were now at Perodua’s sales centres, nationwide, awaiting delivery, and the focus now was to ensure that customers receive their vehicles as soon as possible.
“That being said, the responsibility is ours and we greatly regret any inconvenience this delay has caused you, our valued customers,” he added.
