New Delhi, April 23 – After Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra got married in far-away Italy, rumour mills have gone into overdrive to find out whys and hows of their ‘sudden’ marriage. While some say, it was already planned some say it was rushed.
Well, according to a leading daily, Rani’s father’s ill health triggered the couple to exchange vows at a short notice. It reports that after Rani’s father collapsed and was hospitalised, three weeks ago, Aditya promised him that he would marry Rani rigth-away.
Apparently on April 18 the venue was decided and onApril 19 the Chopras and the Mukerjis flew to the venue, along with Karan Johar also flew the same night. The wedding was perfomed according to Bengali customs, for which a Bengali pandit was flown to Italy.
