April 30 – New kid on the Bollywood block Tiger Shroff and his co-star Kirti Sanon showed off some cool moves on the occasion of World Dance Day as they promoted their debut film Heropanti in Mumbai.
The promotional gig culminated a pan-India Heropanti dance contest, but the crowd gathered at the suburban Mumbai venue were more interested in watching Tiger’s performance than that of the winners.
Playing to the gallery, the 24- year- old son of Jackie Shroff took off his shirt to reveal a rippling six- pack that had the ladies in the crowd gushing.
Donning a lime- green tank top with jeans and sneakers, newbie Kriti too proved that she has got the skills to match her hero step for step when it comes to dance.
The young duo performed a few signature steps from the song Whistle Bajaa that has been steadily rising on the charts since its television and internet release. They also invited some fans on the stage to dance with them.
The music of the film, which is composed by Sajid- Wajid, has been getting positive response from the audience.
Produced by Bollywood biggie Sajid Nadiadwala, the film is meant to be Tiger’s launchpad as a commercial star and therefore director Sabbir Khan has played it safe by narrating the tested story of two lovers who have to fight the world for their love. The film is slated to release worldwide on May 23.
