Calcutta, May 10 – Chief Minister of Bengal Mamata Bannerjee talks on the mic while standing on the van with bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty and Trinamool Party (TMC) leaders during a mass rally held today before ninth phase of the parliamentary elections in Calcutta, Eastern India.
Thrinamul Congress headed by Mamata is facing opposition from the Communist party and BJP.
Since taking over the West Bengal state from the Communist party, this is the first time the Thrinamul Congress is facing an uphill task in retaining its supremacy in the state.
