NEW DELHI, June 16 — AirAsia India, which started operations last week, adds Kochi, Kerala, as its new route. The airline will start daily flights from Bengaluru to Kochi and vice versa, effective July 20, 2014, it announced in a statement here, today.
“We are excited to announce our third destination, Kochi, within a few days of our launch. We are very encouraged by the outstanding reception to our product and service,” its chief executive officer Mittu Chandilya said.
He believes the third destination will be able to reach out to more first-time fliers. Other destinations in its network are Bengaluru-Goa and Bengaluru-Chennai.
To celebrate the new route launch, AirAsia India is offering limited promotional seats for all-inclusive-fare of 500 rupees (RM27) from Bengaluru to Kochi and vice versa.
Guests will be able to start their booking on www.airasia.comat 21:30 India Standard Time, June 16–22, 2014, for travel period from July 20 to Oct 25, 2014.
