June 19 – Actress Surveen Chawla has reportedly put on hold shooting of her Punjabi film in Canada and flying back to India to promote Hate Story 2, apparently fearing that bombshell Sunny Leone might hog all the limelight.
According to reports, Surveen had expressed her unavailability to be a part of promotional campaign as promotions clashed with the shooting of her Punjabi film, but as soon as she got to know that the makers are roping in Sunny Leone for a special song, actress decided to fly back.
A source close to the film told a tabloid, “Surveen realised that the song will create a lot of buzz especially since she is not available to promote the film. She doesn’t want Sunny to steal her thunder, so she has decided to return to India and make herself available on more days for the film’s promotions.”
The film’s director Vishal Pandya confirmed Surveen’s participation in the publicity campaign. “Yes, initially, she was not available to take part in the film’s promotions. But now she is coming back because she knows that her presence is important for the film’s publicity,” he said.
