KUALA LUMPUR, June 23 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today extended his condolences to the family of Bukit Assek state assemblyman Wong Ho Leng who died from cancer, yesterday.
“My condolences to the family and friends of the late DAP Sarawak state chairman and Bukit Assek Assemblyman Wong Ho Leng who passed away yesterday,” said Najib in his Twitter entry.
According to the party, Wong died at 10.50pm on Saturday.
Wong, 54, was diagnosed with a brain tumour in January last year. He underwent treatment in Singapore earlier this year and had been receiving palliative care at the Rejang Medical Centre in Sibu, Sarawak.
