KOTA KINABALU, June 27 — Sabah Barisan Nasional (BN) Youth continue to remain united despite differences in opinion between members of component parties following the formation of a united front by youth wings of Kadazandusun Murut-based party in Sabah.
Its Chief Yamani Hafez Musa said it was normal to have differences of opinion and approach from time to time but “there is no question of our loyalty to the leaders and objectives of BN,” he said in a statement issued here today.
“Whatever our differences we will always be able to sit down together, and find amicable solutions to the issues that need to be addressed. Rest assured we will uphold the struggles of the people of Sabah,” added Yamani Hafez, who is also Sipitang Umno Youth Chief.
Nevertheless, he stressed that Sabah BN representation was inclusive of all societies, as the coalition believed in the concept of unity in diversity to move the State forward in the right direction.
Recently, the youth wings of BN’s KDM-based component party, Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS), United Pasokmomogun Kadazandusun Murut Organisation (Upko) formed ‘united fronts’ in Keningau which was misunderstood by some as a duplication of the Sabah BN youth.
