Washington, July 4 – US President Barack Obama has been voted as worst President since World War II, according to a poll study. About thirty-three percent of American voters decided this.
Only eight percent of voters voted Obama as the best in the list that included George W. Bush, Richard Nixon, Jimmy Carter, John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan and others.
Released on Wednesday, the poll conducted by Quinnipac University revealed that Bush followed Obama closely as the second-worst at 28 percent. On the other hand, Nixon came third in the list with 13 percent of the votes.
The poll results also showed that 35 percent of voters thought that Reagan was the best American President since 1945. According to Politico, the Quinnipac poll brought more bad news for Obama while it revealed that 45 percent of the voters thought that the US would do better with Mitt Romney at the helm.
However, at the same time, 38 percent were reportedly also of the opinion that Romney’s presidency would leave the country in worse shape.
Fifty-four percent of voters also believed that the Obama administration was incompetent at running the nation. The poll was conducted between June 24-30 with 1,446 registered voters on land lines and cellphones. According to the report, the margin for error is plus or minus 2.6 percent points, the report added.
