New delhi, July 16 – Finally Karan Johar has found his hero of Shuddhi, and it is none other than Salman Khan. The movie which was tossed around from Hrithik Roshan to Ranveer Singh to Aamir Khan has finally been taken up by superstar Salman. Salman was quoted as confirming the news by a Bollywood news portal, that he has signed Karan Johar’s long pending ambitious project.
“Yes, I am doing Karan Johar’s film called Shuddhi which I would probably start in a while. After Kick, I am going to finish shooting for Sooraj Barjatya’s film. Then I have Kabir Khan’s film and Boney Kapoor’s No Entry Mein Entry. Following that I also have Aditya Chopra’s Sultan and a film with Mahesh Manjrekar”, the actor said.
With superstar Salman in tow, director Karan Johar must be heaving a sigh of relief. Shuddhi will be Salman’s first film with Karan Johar as main hero. Salman was seen in a special appearance in Karan Johar’s bubble-gum romance Kuch Kuch Hota Hain about 15 years ago, after which they never worked together owning to Karan’s friendship with Shah Rukh Khan.
