KUALA LUMPUR, July 20 — Two pet dogs and nine live birds, including four pigeons, were among the cargo onboard flight MH17 which crashed in Ukraine. A statement from MAS revealed the aircraft cargo was made up of courier items including helicopter equipment, horticulture and medical items, fake flowers, daily products, filters, textile and posted mail.
It also included baggage containing the personal items of the passengers. The cargo weighed a total of 9,885.4 kilogrammes. According to the cargo list, a large part of the cargo was to be sent to other countries such as the Philippines, Vietnam, Australia and India, besides Malaysia.
