New Delhi, August 16 – Ajay Devgn-Kareena Kapoor starrer Singham Returns released on a grand note this Independance Day with a kickstart response. Considering it was a national holiday, the film garnered a total ofRs.32.09 crore on Friday.
The opening day box office collection of Singham Returns broke the record of Salman Khan’s Kick.
Singham Returns breaks the records of all time biggest openers in Bollywood. Aamir Khan-starrer Dhoom 3 collected Rs. 31.86 crore while Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone-starrer Chennai Express earned 30.48 crore on the first day of their release. Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger made opening collections worth Rs. 30.62 crore on Day 1.
