KOTA KINABALU, Aug 26 – Umno members in Sabah have pledged to support and stand firmly behind Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman in leading the state.
Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Yahya Hussin, who is the party’s state liaison secretary said Musa had succeeded in keeping Sabah on track, politically, economically and socially.
In a statement here today, he said Musa, since assuming the chief ministership in 2003, had proven to be a credible leader for the people and state. “Musa is Sabah’s ‘father of modern development and transformation’. Therefore it is not necessary for any party to waste time calling for a state leadership change,” he said.
