SHAH ALAM, Feb 23 – The people must reject the opposition pact in the 13th general election to protect the faith of Muslims from the pluralism ideology bandied about by the opposition pact. Kulim Bandar Baru Member of Parliament Datuk Zulkifli Nordin(Pic) said, the upcoming general election would be the most important platform to protect the Muslims from the ideology, which advocates the opinion that all religions are the same.
“This is the ideology that the opposition leaders are trying to promote, especially Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim who insists that the Allah word can be used by non-Muslims,” he said during a talk organised by the secretariat of ‘Let’s Reject the Opposition Pact’ at Section 9 here, last night.
Zulkifli said the ruling made by PAS Syura Council that the word ‘Allah’ could not be used by non-Muslims had also been ridiculed by other opposition leaders, especially DAP chairman Karpal Singh. On Selangor state government led by Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), Zulkifli said the people in the state should realised by now that they had been duped and deluged with empty promises made by the opposition pact.
