New Delhi, October 13 – Lenovo’s Yoga line of products are considered to be some of the most innovative hybrid products in the market. On Thursday, the Chinese company went one step ahead in cementing its status as the most innovative PC company in the world, as it announced 3 new Yoga devices — The Yoga Tablet 2 Pro, Yoga Tablet 2 and Yoga 3 Pro.
To start things off, the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro is a 13.3-inch Android tablet with an incredible 2,560×1,440 pixels resolution. But that is not all. The device even has a built-in projector, which allows it to beam movies to a wall or a screen at a 16:9 aspect ratio.
There is also a built-in sub-woofer, and an 8-watt sound system, which is impressive for a product of its size. On the back, it has an 8-megapixel camera, and 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded further. Lenovo claims a whopping 15 hours of battery life. The tablet will be available for $499, and there will also be an LTE option in certain markets.
The Yoga Tablet 2 is more simplistic than the pro model. It is offered in 8-inch and 10-inch models, running both Windows or Android. Battery life is even better on this product as Lenovo claims 18 hours of battery life.
Lenovo says the Android versions of the product will start at $249.99 and $299.99 while the Windows version will cost a little more at $299.99 and $399.99. Lastly, the star of Lenovo’s new Yoga line is clearly the Yoga 3 Pro.
It is one of the first devices to be powered by Intel’s new Core M chipset and flaunts a 13-inch 3200 x 1800 pixels display. The Core M processor is Intel’s latest CPU built on the Broadwell architecture using its second generation 14nm trigate 3D transistor manufacturing process.
If that was not enough to grab your attention, then her this: it is incredibly thin at 12.8mm and weighs just 1.19kg. Lenovo is promising 9 hours of battery life on this product and it will start at $1,349 in the US, when it hits the shelves later this month.
