February 27, 2013-Adding another screen size between the 5.5-inch Galaxy Note II and the 10.7-inch Galaxy Note 10.1, Samsung has announced the Galaxy Note 8.0. Running the Android Jelly Bean operating system, the Galaxy Note 8.0 features an Exynos chipset with a 1.6GHz A9 quad-core CPU and 2GB of RAM.

The tablet will be available in 16GB and 32GB capacities and will have a 5 MP rear camera along with a 1.3MP front facing camera. This new tablet will also have Samsung’s S-Pen functionality along with Smart Stay, Direct Call and other features spotted in some of the flagship Galaxy devices .

But Samsung seems to be adding to the clutter and confusion in its Android devices segment. The company has smartphones with up to 4.8 inch display, phablets measuring between 5 inch to 5.5 inch screen followed by tablets at 7, 8.9 and 10.1 inches. But just like the unexpected success of the first Galaxy Note (that we underestimated), even the Note 8.0 can turn out to be a huge hit for the company.
