PETALING JAYA, January 31 – Indian music director Anirudh Ravichander’s first ever solo concert in Malaysia tomorrow is seen as an excellent opportunity to promote the country around the world.
Golden Goose Entertainment Sdn Bhd chief executive officer K. Yeragaselvan, the organiser of the event, said some 200 people from India had flown in just to witness the “Anirudh Live 2015” concert to be held at The surf beach in Sunway Lagoon.
“We have sold some 5,000 tickets so far and expect more crowd to come for the concert which will match international standards. “Apart from India, we have some 15 people coming from Singapore to witness the show,” he told Bernama.
Meanwhile, Anirudh, who shot to fame in 2011 for his work in the Tamil movie ‘3’ and its hit song ‘Why this Kolaveri’, said the concert would be a different experience for everyone with an audiovisual element added.
He said he was looking forward to his first solo concert in Malaysia as the country feels like his second home. The anticipated three-and-half-hour concert will feature local acts Superfly Music, Starr Sound, Ktown clan and PsychoUnit alongside international singers Shakthisree Gopalan and Inno Genga
