New Delhi, March 2 – Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor, who was tested positive for swine flu, was flown out of Rajkot to Mumbai on Saturday night. She was shooting for Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in Rajkot when she complained of cough, respiratory problems and mild fever.
The actor was then admitted to Sterling Hospital in Rajkot where she was tested positive for swine flu. After which it was decided to fly her back to Mumbai for further treatment. She has reportedly been admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital in Mumbai.
“Sonam Kapoor tested positive for swine flu today and she is being treated at Sterling hospital in the city,” Rajkot district collector Manisha Chandra said. “She probably contracted swine flu from her physical trainer in Mumbai and by the time she came here she was already suffering from the symptoms,” added Chandra.
Salman and director Sooraj Barjatya are shooting in Gondal near Rajkot for the last one week. Sonam arrived in Gondal two-three days ago, but had to return to Mumbai as she was suffering from cough.
She returned to Gondal yesterday, but had to be admitted in hospital, the source said. She was admitted to Kokilaben Ambani hospital in Mumbai last month after contacting a respiratory infection.
