New Delhi, March 4 – Oscars 2015 saw celebrities create a sparkle on the red carpet with their dazzling jewellery. The view brightened an unusually dreary rainy afternoon in Hollywood as the film industry’s stars hit the glamorous Oscars red carpet.
Statement necklaces garnered the maximum attention on the red carpet with Marion Cotillard’s necklace taking the cake. From Scarlett Johansson’s green statement neck piece to Lupita Nyong’o diamond earrings, take a look at the baubles donned by the stars.
Margot Robbie wore a Van Cleef and Arpels necklace known as the Zip Antique. Originally crafted for the Duchess of Windsor, the necklace is worth $1.5 million ensuring it a spot among the most expensive diamond necklaces in the world.
Scarlett Johansson sported an emerald statement bib necklace, that cascaded into her plunging decolletage.
Gwyneth Paltrow wore a pair of Anna Hu Fire Phoenix earrings that are valued at $425,000. Set in white gold, the pair consisted of huge pear-shaped Rubellites accompanied by diamonds, sapphires and tourmalines in various hues.
Though Lupita’s gown was nothing short of all enveloping body jewellery, she complemented it by a pair of drop earrings from Chopard.
