SINGAPORE, March 17 – Former prime minister Lee Kuan Yew’s condition has worsened due to an infection, the Prime Minister’s Office said Tuesday.
It said in a statement that he was on antibiotics.Doctors were closely monitoring his condition, it added.
Lee, 91, is warded in the intensive care unit of the Singapore General Hospital where he was admitted on Feb 5, for severe pneumonia.
