New Delhi, March 18 – Before PK was released, Anushka Sharma’s full lips were the only reason she was making headlines.Thankfully that has changed, following the actress’ brilliant performance in PK and her more recent outing in the high intensity thriller NH10.
Though the actress got her lips enhanced artificially, for a role in an upcoming film, it is one trend that is not dying anytime soon. Here’s how you can cheat your way to fuller looking lips.
Light is right:
Darker colours can make your lips look smaller than they are. A light shade on the other hand makes your lips look lush. Avoid plums and wines and opt for neutrals, light pinks or shades in warm tones like oranges and reds to make your lips look fuller. Think Anushka Sharma’s colour palette from PK.
High shine:
Instead of a matte finish, go for lipsticks that provide sheen to your lips. Work some physics into your lips, and play along with light as shinier means bigger. A lip gloss is a great to-go product for plumping that pout.
Dab some onto the center of your upper and lower lip for maximum impact. If you aren’t a fan of lip gloss then you can use some glittery eyeshadow or frosted powder to achieve the same effect.

After you have applied your lipstick, add some white liner on to the center of your lips. Blend it in. The 3D effect created by the use of white will make your lips look bigger.

Besides it’s yummy smell, cinnamon is known for its natural lip plumping properties. Apply some cinnamon oil before applying lipstick or mix in a drop into your lipbalm for an all time lush effect.
Conceal, conceal, conceal:
Apply some concealer or foundation around the outline of your lips. The lighter outline gives the illusion of full lips and even covers up any application mistakes.
