JUNE 18- Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone is definitely on the high road. She made grand entry in the industry with 2007 film Om Shanti Om and today her latest release Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has made her one of the bankable actors of B-town.
Out of the four releases this year, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani opened on a grand note. Infact, YJHD has become the first film to cross Rs.100 crore mark within a week of its release.
This year she will be seen in Chennai Express with badshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan, Tamil megastar Rajinikanth in Kochadaiyaan and alleged boyfriend Ranveer Singh in Ram Leela.
Though her dates are booked in advance, but according to recent reports she is ‘most wanted’ by producers and directors. The reports suggest that three top filmmakers of Bollywood Karan Johar, Imtiaz Ali and Mani Ratnam have each offered her a role in their upcoming films.
It is also being said that Imtiaz wants to repeat the lead pair of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika, in his next which he plans to start shooting early next year.
