Feb 19 – Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday questioned the Jayalalithaa government’s decision to release seven people convicted for the assassination of his father and former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
“If a prime minister’s killers are being released, what kind of justice should the common man expect?” Rahul Gandhi said in Amethi.
He though said he was against the death penalty.
