March 6, 2013-Seagate on Tuesday announced the launch of its award winning storage device, the Wireless Plus mobile device storage in India. It was showcased at CES earlier this year.

Designed to wirelessly stream content for up to eight smartphones or tablets, the device aims to extend the limits of today’s mobile lifestyle. The integrated 1TB drive offers enough space for storing 500 HD movies and a 10 hour battery backup.

This drive comes with a removable SuperSpeed USB 3.0 adapter for quick content loading. The Wireless Plus mobile device storage works through the mobile Seagate Media app that is available for Apple iOS, Android and Kindle Fire HD and is not dependent on any Wireless network. The Wireless Plus can also be used to enjoy video, photos, music and documents on the big screen via Apple Airplay, DLNA or using the app specially designed for Samsung’s Smart TV.
