Kuala Lumpur – Former MIC Strategic Director and former Chairman of MIC Batu Division K.Ramalingam (pic), today failed to get an order in Kuala Lumpur High Court against RoS to quash their letter dated 25th June 2015 which declared Datuk Seri Dr S.Subramaniam as the Acting President of MIC.
In the said letter dated 25th June 2015, RoS also accepted the CWC decision that Datuk Seri G.Palanivel and four others including applicant Ramalingam have ceased to be members of MIC as per Section 91 of the MIC Constitution.
MIC sources said that the Kuala Lumpur High Court heard arguments from both the Counsels and dismissed the application with RM10,000 in costs to be paid to the Government by the applicant Ramalingam.
