KUALA LUMPUR, March 20- Malaysia Debt Ventures Berhad (MDV) today clarified that its ‘A Dollar for a Like’ programme on Facebook was surfed by more than 25,000 account holders of the social networking service throughout the country since its launch on Feb 5.
MDV pointed out that a report that said the programme had attracted more than 25,000 “likes” from Facebook users was inaccurate. The three-month programme, ending on May 5, aims to gather “likes” from Facebook users, whereby each “like” would be equated to RM1.
The total number of “likes” gathered would be equated to the donation to be given to selected welfare homes. MDV is a subsidiary of the Finance Ministry, and the “A Dollar for a Like” programme is one of its corporate social responsibility activities.
