Kuala Lumpur – The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) in its Annual General Meeting yesterday (Saturday 29 April 2017) elected a new team of office-bearers for the term 2017-2021.
Dato Seri Norza Zakaria was elected as the President of BAM while Tan Sri Datuk Amar Abdul Aziz and Datuk Wira Lim Teong Keat were elected as the two Deputy Presidents.
Datuk Ng Chin Chair was elected as Honorary Secretary and Mohd Taupik Hussain was elected as the Assistant Secretary.
Senator Datuk V.Subramaniam was elected as the Honorary Treasurer. V.Subramaniam is also the President of Selangor Badminton Association (SBA). This is the first time a Malaysian Indian has been elected as the National Treasurer of BAM. Senator Subramaniam will also head the Finance Committee of BAM.
