Members of the Eelam freedom fighters stage protest in front of the Indian Radio Station at Chennai.
Students of the Valliyammai college stage protest in front of the Telecommunication office located at the 3rd avenue in Annanagar.
Members of the Women organsiation engage protest in front of the JJ city post office and also they burnt the effigy of Lankan president.
Members of the Viduthalai Siruthaikal Party burnt the effigies of Lankan president and congress leader Sonia Gandhi. More than 375 students took part in the protest stage at the Pallawarma tourist road. All these students raised slogans against the Lankan government.
Government officials of the eastern province, traders and businessmen were also present at this meeting.
