Venezuelan acting president warns against opposition’s violent attempts

CARACAS, March 28 – Venezuelan presidential candidate by the Great Patriotic Pole, Nicolas Maduro(pic), warned his followers Wednesday on attempts by the opposition to take the national political stage to a violent situation.
Speaking before thousands of supporters in Maturin, Monagas state, Maduro, who is also acting president said that representatives of the right are betting for the hate campaign.

The oligarchy wants the electoral process ends in violence, either their own election day (April 14) or later, to a reality that points to his defeat in the elections, he added.  Maduro appealed to voters of the opposition to avoid being manipulated by those who want to take in a path of violence and defeat.

Opposition sectors have invested in a scenario where the people reach a limit that overwhelms their patience and is released to the streets, to use the pretext of an extreme situation, he said.

Nicolas-Maduro“Along with that, the electoral process puts before us a choice between two models, one of which is the homeland and Chavez against imperialism and nothing added,” he said.

In this context, Maduro reaffirmed the commitment to continue the 2013-2019 country plan or “designed by Commander Hugo Chavez-to turn Venezuela into a socialist power, democratic, humanist and Christian.  With only 18 days remaining to the date of the vote, the Socialist candidate also warned against efforts to poison the mind to noble and warned people to
assume for the bourgeoisie is doing against the interests of the country.

Maduro attended the inauguration Wednesday of more than 6,000 members of the Battle Units Hugo Chavez in the state, responsible for further work in the face of electoral upcoming elections.
