KUALA LUMPUR, March 29- Coca-Cola Refreshments Sdn Bhd has been appointed as the official beverage partner for Legoland Malaysia. The partnership agreement allows brands under the Coca-Cola umbrella to have a prominent presence at Legoland Malaysia’s signature Market Restaurant, one of the largest of the seven food and beverage outlets on site.
Visitors to the park will be able to enjoy a huge variety of beverages for sale at the park as a result of the partnership, Coca-Cola Malaysia said in a statement. Coca-Cola offers a range of popular brands under its portfolio such as Fanta, Sprite, A&W Sarsaparilla, Heaven and Earth, Dasani mineral water, Vannila Coke, Coca-Cola light and Coca-Cola.
Amit Oberoi, Chief Executive Officer of Coca-Cola’s Bottling Investment Group for Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei, said:
“The partnership with the park is in line with the group’s commitment to the market and we plan to invest RM1 billion in the country by 2015.
“Malaysia has tremendous business potential for Coca-Cola and to unlock it, it needs to be where its customers and consumers are.
“Looking at how Legoland Malaysia has been drawing in the crowds, we know we have to be here as well and by doing so we can grow together with our partners,” he added.
