PETALING JAYA– Malindo Air OD281 has started its new services between Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and Kolkata, departing from KLIA at 9:55p.m. on Monday (October 22). The inaugural flight, with 162 passengers on board, was sent off by High Commissioner of India in Malaysia, H.E Shri Mridul Kumar and Malindo Air’s CEO, Mr Chandran Rama Muthy at KLIA.
The 3 hour and 55 minutes flight arrived at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport at 11:20p.m. (GMT +5:30). Upon arrival, a cake cutting ceremony was held in the airport to celebrate the inaugural flight. The 5 weekly flight is operated with a narrow-body Boeing 737 aircraft, comprising of 12 Business Class and 150/168 Economy Class seats. The returning flight from Kolkata OD282 is scheduled to depart at 12:10a.m. and arrive in KLIA at 6:35a.m.

Promotional fare is offered at RM499 for Economy Class and RM899 for Business Class one way from Kuala Lumpur.
