JOHOR BAHARU, April 11 – DAP advisor Lim Kit Siang(Pic) has urged all its party and Pakatan Rakyat (PR) leaders to stop issuing statements which could weaken the opposition alliance and derail their efforts to capture Putrajaya in the 13th general election.
Lim, the DAP candidate for the Gelang Patah parliamentary seat, made the call at a time of worsening conflict within Johor DAP and with PKR over the allocation of seats for the elections.
“I urge all leaders and members of DAP and Pakatan Rakyat to focus only one goal, on one big enemy from today. Stop everything else which can weaken our objective,” he told reporters at his campaign office in Taman Ungku Tun Aminah, here, today.
Lim was referring to the quarrel between Johor DAP chairman Dr Boo Cheng Hau and Senai assemblyman Ong Kow Meng over the selection of candidates, while Johor DAP is also at loggergheads with PKR over the Gelang Patah and Segamat
parliamentary seats and Johor Jaya state seat. Earlier, Lim who was accompanied by Dr Boo and Petaling Jaya Utara MP Tony Pua, launched the Wawasan 2050 for the people of Johor and Malaysia, the third objective in the “Battle of Gelang Patah.”
