IPOH: Perak Pakatan Rakyat has launched its manifesto for the state, ahead of Barisan Nasional.
Manifesto committee chairman Dr Khairuddin Abdul Malek said the manifesto was not merely a political promise to lure voters but a manifestation of the needs of the people.
“The manifesto is practical and could be carried out if Pakatan wins the state government.
“It will benefit the business community and is people- and environmental-friendly,” he said during the launching of the state Pakatan’s manifesto here Monday.
“The people’s income and savings can also be enhanced,” he said, adding that the manifesto was created based on the state’s capability.
The 13th general election is set for May, with polling for parliamentary seats and 11 state assemblies to be carried out simultaneously.
