No doubt that a part of his investment has been put to good use promoting the movie. However, he is in a fix these days as another production house is floating a project by the same name catapulting it to equal popularity as they share a common title.

The New Vaalu is Headed by director Desiga (former associate to Thambi Ramaiah) his crew constituting Kalloori fame Akhil and Saranya are part of a production by S K Ilavarasan under his banner Pranav Productions. When the recent posters of their forthcoming project was released with ‘Vaalu’ etched in sparkling gold across its first look poster, news concerning ‘a clash of the titles’ soon spread to Simbu and his close associates.
Meanwhile, the climax sequences of the Simbu’s Vaalu have been postponed as Santhanam is held up in Australia for Vijay’s Thalaivaa. Apart from the songs, a comic scene at a temple is also in plans in the upcoming schedule.
