The Limit of “Green Wave”

While PN may win elections in five out of six states, how can that victory threaten the stability of the federal government?

#TamilSchoolmychoice

PN leaders said that if PN succeeds or wins elections in five of the six DUN seats, Kedah, Kelantan, Terengganu, Negeri Sembilan and Selangor, that victory is enough to shake the central government.

Although PN wins all state elections including in Penang, something that is considered impossible, it is unlikely that PN’s victory will affect the stability or continuity of the central government.

The federal government may shake, but its fall may not be.
PN’s willingness to win in five states seems difficult to achieve, especially Negeri Sembilan and Selangor.

Winning Penang seems to be an illusion on the PN’s side.
The idea of winning Penang was created to give dignity to the Movement.

The movement that cannot defend non-Malays from Hadi Awang’s racist remarks against non-Malay people is in the lowest position in the country’s political history.

For the Movement to win the hearts or support of non-Malays in Penang is an unimaginable task and something that cannot be translated into reality.

Although victory in the state election may not favor the PN in pursuing the stability of the unity government, there is confidence in the leadership that they can rely on the green wave phenomenon.

The phenomenon of a green wave triggered in the days before the last general election gave the combination an unprecedented advantage over PH and BN.

However, a lot has happened and gone since the days of the previous general election.

Corruption allegations against several PN leaders including its President Muhyiddin Yassin have raised questions over whether the coalition is truly free of corruption and other financial misconduct.

The initial attack on Umno leaders for corruption may have disappeared a little bit.

Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim may not be long in holding the post as Prime Minister, only a few months but he has done the job well and is gradually working to restore the country’s economy.

The political stability of the unity government has given him time and space to ensure that the government functions effectively.
The opposition in PN may have different things to say, something is expected of the opposition, but they have no action plan to change Malaysia.

PN has exposed its race and religion rhetoric only by force for over a year before.Apart from this, PN coalition has nothing to offer to Malaysians through economic growth, investment attraction, creating job opportunities, transition to talented workforce development and others.

So, why is PN statement winning five states in the upcoming state election?

PN leaders themselves are fully aware to what extent they can pursue the race and religion argument to win elections just to gain power.

But they are fully aware that running a country requires more than extremism in race and religion.

It takes administrative, scientific, economic and strategic talent to move the country and its people forward.

A green wave is just a momentary bubble, not a permanent presence of phenomenon across time and space.

PN under the burden of corruption and other financial scandals exposed may not be able to stop the green wave bubble from bursting.

PN may have the power to move it based on exclusive racial and religious views, but it has a weak and pathetic way to govern a country based on inclusiveness.
