KUANTAN, May3 – State Pahang Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob said the Pahang BN Manifesto had outlined 15 thrust areas in caring for the welfare and interests of the state’s people.
He said copies of the manifesto themed, “Janji Ditepati” (Promises Fulfilled), were printed in Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin, Tamil and English.
“This manifesto is to inform the people what the Pahang BN government has done, is doing and will be doing in caring for the welfare and interests of the people, besides to increase the state’s revenue.”
Adnan said this after a gathering with the state’s Orang Asli community leaders, here, last night. The menteri besar said the manifesto would not be launched. Instead, copies of it would be immediately distributed to the public.
The 15 thrust areas under the manifesto are housing, education, welfare, basic facilities, Orang Asli, public order, local authorities, environment, youth, Islam, non-Islamic religions, land, forestry, port and public service delivery.
