KUALA LUMPUR, May 5 – The Barisan Nasional (BN) won 25 of the 31 parliamentary seats declared as of 10 pm today in the 13th General Election.
According to the Election Commission, the BN won 23 seats in Sarawak and one seat each in Putrajaya and Labuan.
Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor (BN) retained Putrajaya, defeating Datuk Husam Musa of PAS by a 5,541-vote majority in a keenly followed contest. The DAP won six parliamentary seats, four of them in Sarawak and one each in Kuala Lumpur and Penang.
