KUALA LUMPUR, May 7 – Celcom Axiata Bhd, has unveiled a new Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution that allows central management, security and deployment of mobile data and applications across multiple devices.
The new cloud-based service management platform under Celcom First Solutions allows administrators to manage all of the above in devices, including, mobile phones, smart phones, tablets, laptops and desktop personal computers across organisations of any size.
Its Chief Business Solutions Officer Jefri Ahmad Tambi said companies in today’s constantly-connected business environment, fully understand that device mobility coupled with cloud-based software access, translates to business transformation.
“It gives subscribers the freedom to go from unmanaged and unsecured devices to full device ecosystem control,” he added.
Celcom launched its MDM on SAP Afaria together with technology vendors and co-providers SAP and EMI Solutions Sdn Bhd.
