KUALA LUMPUR, May 11- Petronas Gas Bhd’s pre-tax profit for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013 rose to RM485.889 million from RM446.762 million in the same quarter of 2012.
Revenue, however, fell to RM910.443 million from RM914.802 million previously.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, Petronas Gas said the lower revenue was primarily due to lower consumption by customers.
It said the group’s earnings will remain stable on the back of the fixed fee structure under the Gas Processing and Transmission Agreement.
