KLANG, May 31- The Private Secretary to the Sultan of Selangor, Datuk Mohamad Munir Bani has reminded writers not to drag the palace or the Sultan of Selangor on whatever matter in their blogs and websites without prior investigation to avoid public misconception on the state Ruler.
He denied the allegation that the delay in the appointment of the State Executive Council (Exco) members was due to the fulfilling of the requirements of Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
Mohamad Munir said the delay in the appointment of the Exco members was because the Selangor Menteri Besar, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim had an audience with the Sultan of Selangor only on Monday (May 27) to get the consent of His Highness on the list of candidates for the Exco members.
“As such, the allegation that the Selangor Exco list was held up to accommodate the wishes of the Sultan of Selangor is untrue,” he said in a statement today.
