NAIROBI, June 5 – Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who is making a three-day official visit to Kenya, has held talks with his host, President Uhuru Kenyatta, at the Sagana State lodge, about 100 km northeast of here.
During the meeting on Tuesday, President Kenyatta (photo) and President Mohamud discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest.
The Somali president is accompanied on his visit to Kenya by First lady Qamar Ali Omar, Minister of State Farah Ali Abdul Qadir and Somalia’s Ambassador to Kenya Mohammed Noor.
Also present when the Somali leader called at Sagana State lodge were Kenyan First Lady Margaret Kenyatta and Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Thuita Mwangi.
