JUNE 17- While 100 days at the box office is- in itself a grand feat, Fox Star Studios’ ‘Life of Pi’ breaks all records of recent times, by running successfully for 200 days straight, at PVS Film City, Cochin. The film, adapted from a book of the same name, was directed by Ang Lee.
At the 85th Academy Awards, the film had 11 nominations for the Oscars. The film also had numerous nominations for Golden Globe Awards. The movie premiered world wide, in late September last year.
As part of the promotion of the movie, director Ang Lee visited India, which continues to stay memorable for many, especially his interaction with Kamal Hassan. Raising a toast to the grand success of the film, we at Indiaglitz take the opportunity and pride to congratulate the ‘Life of Pi’ team.
