JUNE 25- Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film ‘Chennai Express’ surely is a very special one for him and here we tell you why?
SRK, who is determined to leave no stone unturned to ensure that his film is a blockbuster, has reportedly asked popular Punjabi rapper Honey Singh to compose a special song for his film. If grapevine is to be believed, Honey Singh’s composed song in SRK’s Chennai Express will be Khan’s tribute to south icon Rajinikanth, who did a cameo in SRK’s superhero flick Ra.One only as a friendly gesture and did not charge anything for it.
A leading tabloid quoted Honey Singh saying, “I was very surprised and happy to hear from Shah Rukh bhai. He said he wanted me to do a particular song. I wrote and composed the song while I was in Mauritius. Both Shah Rukh bhai and I are huge Rajinikanth fans. This number is our tribute to him.”
Directed by Rohit Shetty, Chennai Express also stars Deepika Padukone and the film is slated to release on August 8.
