MELAKA, July 11 – The Umno Veterans Club will ensure that 2,385 elderly voters over 60 years old will vote for Barisan Nasional (BN) in the upcoming Kuala Besut state seat by-election.
Its secretary Datuk Mustapha Yaakub said Umno Veterans will also ensure that family members of the elderly voters will choose the BN candidate standing in the by-election.
“This is in line with the ‘My Family Vote For BN” campaign carried out by Umno Veterans. Umno Veterans in Besut will go all-out on the ground to ensure BN’s victory.
“A total of 10,000 ‘My Family Vote For BN’ stickers will be distributed to the Umno Veterans Club members to attract Kuala Besut voters,” he said when contacted.
