Aug 1- Sonam Kapoor, who has been tasting success post her blockbuster hits Raanjhannaa and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, is all set to foray in the world of Hollywood, if all goes well.
The 24-year-old reportedly auditioned for her dream role, the fifth part of the hugely popular Pirates of the Caribbean franchise which will also star Johnny Depp.
After attending several international events and her unique public appearances at Cannes, Sonam is eager to be soon part of the Hollywood clan.
According to the buzz, the makers of the movie contacted a celebrity management company in India, who reached out to Anil Kapoor. Anil Kapoor who already has a great body of work overseas with films like Mission Impossible and Slum Dog Millionaire recommended his actor-daughter Sonam Kapoor for the auditions of the film.
A leading daily quoted a source as saying, “The audition was held last week in a studio in Andheri. Sonam breezed through the auditions. The outcome is awaited. Sonam even had a long video conference with representatives from the makers, Walt Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer. The casting agents of the film in question were also present during her acid test.”
Well, no matter how big or small her role would be, we hope we get to see Sonam romancing with Hollywood’s biggest star, Johnny Depp.
