Khan had appeared in court on July 24 but the final verdict was not taken. The court then framed the charges and adjourned the case till August 19.

However Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan has denied such reports to a leading daily.

“There were some technical issues. Salman already has a 10-year tourist visa which is still valid.

However, some issues came up while trying to get a work permit. They needed some additional papers, which have now been called for and will be presented to them,” he is quoted by the leading daily.

He also said that the visa was not rejected, it is on hold.

Securing a UK visa has become very difficult nowadays as the rules have become very stringent.

The star will reportedly again apply for the visa next week.
