SINGAPORE, Sept 17 – Singapore President Dr Tony Tan Keng Yam will make a visit to Malaysia from Wednesday to Friday.
Malaysia’s High Commissioner to Singapore, Datuk Husni Zai Yaacob said this would be Tan’s first state visit to Malaysia, which would further contribute to enhancing the existing excellent diplomatic ties between Malaysia and Singapore.
“During his visit, the president will be in Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur and Melaka.
“Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah and Tuanku Hajah Haminah will host a state banquet for President Tan and Mrs Mary Tan,” he told Bernama.
During the visit, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib is scheduled to call on President Tan.
